I finallyyyyyyy ordered some Boy London clothing. I've been eyeing the black t-shirt for over a year now and finally ordered it. I also got the white Boy repeat vest 'cause I think it will be nice for summer. I also wanted to get the black cap but when I placed my order it was sold out. Just checked the site and saw that it's back in stock again, so I'll probably order that next month.

Amsterdam shopping

Last Saturday I decided to go to Amsterdam for a day, on my own. I just felt like getting away from everything and everyone for a day, to a place where no one knows me and no one cares. I like being alone and wandering around. I can go wherever I want, to stores that I like and spend there as much time as I need to.


Everytime I go to Amsterdam I stop by the American bookcenter and buy a couple of new novels. This time: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I've already read a few chapters and really like it so far. Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. The Virgin Suicides is one of my favourite books so I am eager to read other novels by this author. And the last one is The Apple by Michel Faber. These are short stories about some of the characters from The Crimson Petal and the White. I read and finished this book in the train back home.


Bobbi Brown gel liner. I've wanted this gel liner for sooo long, because I love the 1950s winged eyeliner look. I've always used cheap eyeliners but I just became annoyed by the fact that I could never get my eyeliner quite perfect(I'm an extreme perfectionist, just so you know). I heard from reviews that this is one of the best eyeliners out there and well, I like to have the best of the best. I'm very satisfied with this eyeliner even though it was super pricey (eyeliner + brush €49... DAMN)


Another MAC lipstick. This one is called "Lady Danger"




Saved by the Bell t-shirt from the River Island men section. I've wanted this t-shirt for so long so I'm super happy I finally got it.






Hoodie from New Yorker. Love the colour and it's super comfy






Vintage flannel shirt from Episode. This flannel is lined so it's very warm, something I can use in the current weather. It's so big on me, I love it!












Vintage Alabama University jacket from Episode. I'm collecting the United States of America... on jackets. I have two so far, this one, Alabama, and Iowa. I really want to have one with Nevada, Texas or California on the back.

Shopping at Ikea

After visiting my sister, I went to Ikea with my mum. No I didn't buy any furniture. I'd love the have a new(bigger!) wardrobe but it's never gonna fit in my bedroom(+ the one I want is super expensive T_T). But besides furniture there are so many other cute things you can buy at Ikea to decorate your home. And if you've been reading my blog for a while you probably know that I LOVE to decorate my bedroom in Versailles/Petit Trianon style. And I just like to add cute and comfy things. So, here's what I bought.

Flowers, flowers and... even more flowers! My bedroom is literally filled with flowers. I have five vases with flowers now.

Strawberry plushie! From the kids' section. I love the kids' section of Ikea! They also had vegetable plushies like a carrot, but I think a strawberry matches my bedroom best.

Pink roses bed sheet. Because roses are my favourite flowers (and pink roses always remind me of Marie Antoinette).

Fake sheep skin. Even though it's fake it's still super soft and fluffy. Also cheaper than a real one and ofcourse animal friendly!

Shopping in Groningen

I went to visit my sister in Groningen and did some shopping over there.

Small shopping spree

This year's winter is dreadful. It can barely be called winter, because the weather is more like autumn. Grey skies and showers. It's not very cold outside, but it's depressing. Every day I'm longing for the summer, it can't come soon enough for me. I just want to lay in sun and hang around at the park with my friends.

Even now when I go shopping I don't even look at winter clothes. I go for cheerful colours and florals.
